I was inspired by watching "Boardwalk Empire" and "Lawless" and decided to get a 590a1 and restock it in wood. Keep it simple. Keep it rugged. Ebay for the forearm, Boyd's for the stock. Refinished both with Tru Oil. Comments welcome......

That looks freaking amazing. Reminds me of why my wooden stocked C&Rs get shot a lot more than any of my plastic guns. Nice job, that is one of the best looking shotguns I have seen in a while.

amen to that. I have 3 shotguns, one is a cruiser, one is a persuader, but the one I like most is an old steven's 520 takedown with a chopped barrel and no sight bead.

Beautiful. Looks kinda like the old Ithaca Model 37 that used too be the most common SG among LE and Military agencies.
I bought my Mossberg 500 recently. It comes with Black synthetic. I might re-stock it someday in wood, just like you did.
