has anyone ever bought an leo trade in 870 from river city gun exchange if so how do you like it and how much did you get it for... its been a while but my uncle has convinced me to go and grab one so i thought i would do my research first

I am also looking for a Police Trade in 870 Police Magnum also for a HD/SHTF shotgun to go with my 870 super magnum. From what I have seen prices for them are around $300-$450 before fees.

I actually just posted on this thread about mine. I bought one for $275 plus fees had matching wood stock and pristine metal almost as if it had not really been used. The stock is nicked here and there but thats all. I think they're great buys. They do however only come with a 4 shot magazine tube. If you dont find one you like they do have a sale on the mossberg 500 for $359. It comes with a 20" bbl, an 8 shot tube, and an optional pistol grip kit. Helluva deal imo.

If a pistol grip doesn't matter, i'd recommend just the regular stock 500 or maverick 88. Mossberg is $299 and the maverick is $289. I just jailed a Maverick 8 shot a few days ago. I might get the shockwave birds head grip for the Maverick or the Mossberg combo. Not sure yet.

I bought one from a different vender for 295. I bought mine in walnut sight unseen. It was in perfect functioning order and it had a few scratches here and there but I wanted it as a beater so it didn't matter. I alumahyded it and added a couple things and called it a day. Great shotgun and for the price, I cannot argue with the results.

I get mine out of jail on the 8th, paid $249 per ad. This is the second one I've bought from River City, first one was the 870 Police Magnum at $299. Get'em while you can.
