Hey guys,
I recently bought a remington 870 police magnum for $275 plus dros and taxes. I was wondering if this was a good deal because the metal is in pristine condition and only the wooden stock seems to be beat up. Whats the difference between the police model and the express? Is 275 a steal or around the standard price?

Police has metal trigger assy, the express has plastic. Also police has parkerized finish, as opposed to the cheap black express finish. Enjoy your new shotgun.

there are a couple internals that are different between the police and express

Police has a steel extractor, the extractor in the Express is MIM.

The forend on the Police is shorter, and someone already mentioned the metal trigger plate.

There's one or two small springs that are different.

$275 is a good price, if the finish is still good.
