Remington mag spring

I recently purchased a Remington Model 11 which is a Browning A5 clone.
Upon pickup I field stripped the gun and discovered the mag spring has a bit of a tweak to it

I have an extra 870 4shot mag spring I was thinking of trying

870=4 shot mag
Model 11=4 shot mag

Any potential problems from trying this?

If the same dimensions as far as legnth and diameter, I'd try it

Springs wear out

Buy a new one and trim to the correct length

After giving it some thought, my shotgun is 68 years old and I have no idea when the mag spring was last replaced
