Any comments on the new Remington 1100 competition master? Was thinking of picking one up to use for 3-Gun.

A customer of mine has one and he is trying to get it to function reliably. It short strokes and fails to drop a fresh round onto the carrier. Being a machinist he is going to take it to a shooting area with a cordless drill and a drill card.No one arrives in Hell surprised. (St. Robert Bellarmine)Comment

Here is a pic of my Remington 1100 that I use for 3-gun:

That really sucks! There is a Remington 1100 Competition Master on GunBroker: http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...?Item=29345454
Price is pretty good cuz on other online gun stores, it goes for $720+.
If you are a USPSA member and can get into their classified section, there are some pretty good prices for Remington 1100CM's, 1100's, and 11-87's readily tricked out for 3-gun at good prices.

I just sold one. I did not like it as much as my Benelli M1. It was not as easy to load fast. I had no problem with the feeding like I have heard others had. I guess saying that I sold my says something all on its own. I will be buying another Benelli, either an M1 or M2. Not sure yet. Hope this helps. Also Remington has dicontinued it for 2005.Comment
