    Remington 1100?

Is it possible to fit a 870 stock on a 1100 tactical. I know there is some kind of long bolt or spring in the stock by looking at the schematics on remingtons sight, but I am not sure what exactly it is or if it is needed? I would like to use a knoxx stock on it but its made for the 870. Does anyone know if it will work or if there is anything like that that I can purchase for the 1100 tactical?

The Knox stock will not work. I have the 1100 tactical. The factory R3 recoil pad is super soft. It sucks up alot of recoil. Some people like the pistol grip as they feel this helps moderate some of teh reciol that you would get through your wrist with alot of shooting of heavy loads.

Thanks. But do you know if there is any type of M4 style stock for it. I dont mind a heavy recoil. I would like to have a retractible stock though.

Uhh, hold on. Maybe you might reread the AW laws regarding semiauto shotguns with pistol grip _and_ retracting stocks.

Thanks for the concern but Ive read the law. It doesnt have to be a telescoping stock I just want that style.
