    Shotshell availability in your area?

So here in Bakersfield, the Wal-Marts are completely out of 12 gauge birdshot. Everything from the individual 25 shell boxes to 100 bulk pack of Federal.

Just wondering how bad is it elsewhere around the state when it comes to shotshells. I know regular centerfire ammo (rifle and pistol) and even bulk pack of 22LR are completely gone! And if available get either swooped up fast by hoarders or get marked up like crazy.

Please share how bad it is for shotshells.

All of the cheap Federal boxes and all of the bulk packs are gone. Plenty of the more expensive like Winchester AA and Remington Gun Club.
Never initiate force against another. That should be the underlying principle of your life. But should someone do violence to you, retaliate without hesitation, without reservation, without quarter, until you are sure that he will never wish to harm - or never be capable of harming - you or yours again.

yah this is pretty much what it is like here

Walmart is sold out of just about everything that is cheap in 12 but had quite a bit in the more expensive stuff and had plenty of 3 and 3 1/2. They also had a few 100 federal packs of 20.

Sportsman's warehouse has what has to be at least 12,000 rounds of 12 gauge but little to no premium slugs, or buck. They had a lot of hunting rounds, and clay rounds but not much budget ammo.
I will share my opinion and my load data, BUT I am just a guy with too many cigars and too many guns. Whatever I say is probably wrong.

Walmart in my area only had a few boxes of high brass #6's and some duck loads. Even the expensive AA and STS' were gone.

          Thank goodness I reload!

I'm in the bay area and we're all out. Some at big 5 but they're always over priced to begin with.

I grabbed 400 rounds of federal a few weeks ago, blew through 100 the first day I shot it and just turned 50 of them into wax slugs

I went to Bass Pro in Rancho Cucamonga a few weeks ago and all they had were 12 gauge Gun Club. They were out of AA and everything else.

Yeah I was there two weeks ago for my hunting license and noticed some bulk packs of Remington gun club stuff. No federal bulk pack stuff either.

They had everyone pick numbers to get help at the gun counter Never seen anything like it before.

I was just at big 5 in vallejo, no .410 birdshot, one box of that home defense .410 slug/pellet mix. Only 12g they had is that fiocchi crappy birdshot and i bought the last 2 boxes of 00 buck.

Walmart here is cleaned out pretty much with signs that say " what you see is what we've got". Big 5 is getting low. I typically end up driving down to Bass Pro were they have PLENTY of Shotshells...by the box and case.
