Can anyone recommend me a stock that's A. Functional and B. Evil/Black/Tacticool. I've heard good things about Knoxx and their SpecOps stock. Anyone confirm this?

I have an 870 with the Knoxx (now Blackhawk) SpecOps stock. It is great. You can pretty much shoot full load slugs all day.
Very easy to install. I have installed two of them, one for me and one for a buddy. Worth it. -
how is the cheek weld on them? i only ask becuase they look slightly angled.Comment

I've got an 870 with the Mesa Tactical High Tube adapter, Enidine Shot Shock, and a Magpul CTR stock. It's an AR stock adapter similar to the Cav Arms.
I've also got a Surefire M69 fore-end, not the plasticy one with the flashlight built in, the aluminum picatinny rail one...with a Bobro short vertical grip.
I'd definitely suggest going with either the Cav Arms or the Mesa Tactical, both with an Enindine Shot Shock (or whatever it's called). Yes, it's more expensive than the Knoxx, but, IMO, it looks A LOT better and it is more true to a rifle type stock, where the Knoxx sits at quite a bit more of an angle.
I've put about 250 rounds of #00 Buck through with the standard 870 stock and probably 500 of #00 Buck, slugs, and about 150 #8 birdshot. With the Enidine, shooting slugs is like shooting light birdshot with the factory stock. There's very little recoil and it's quick to get your sight back on target.
Just my experience.
