Savage 320 HELP!!

First time owner for this brand shot gun. I am a police officer and have a Rem 870 and have stripped it many times. I took the bolt out of this and now I can not get it back in! I have tried and tried the Bolt is rebuilt and it just will not go back in. ANY ONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT I AM MISSING!!!

you need the press down the shell latches on both sides to get the bolt back in. On the 320 they are small and stick a little but they will block the bolt from sliding past unless pressed hard and at the same time. The shell latches are near the opening of the tube magazine.

Thanks! I found the one but not the other. just cant seem to find it. I think it might be broken. Its brand new so maybe its a defect. I am going to have my gun smith look at it and see if he can get it.. this is driving me crazy I couldnt sleep last night knowing that I couldnt figure it outl
