Beretta A300 Outlander Synthetic: initial review

After using a Remy 870 for trap, finally made the move to a semi auto for skeet and sporting clays. Those looking for a great valued semi bird gun the A300 fits the bill perfectly. Turners had them on sale for $649 not sure if they still are and if they have them in stock, i got mine from Fowlers for full retail $749 on a dros piggy back.

Initial review- after 200 rounds at BBB.
- Build quality is top notch, It ran flawlessly, recoil compared to an 870 is minimal as the gas system takes some of it, recoil is just like an 1100 & 930.
- I would put this just a notch over the Remy 1100 and Mossberg 930 class of auto bird guns which i have had the chance to train with.
- It holds 2+1*, up to 3 inch, and comes with 3 chokes.
- Easy to breakdown and clean, very simple piston operated system.
- very light (Synthetic version) although if the wood version was in stock i would have gotten that one.
- Great auto loader for the money and as Beretta's entry level auto loader, I would recommend it to anyone.

- as I put more rounds into it, ill do another review on its performance.

been trying to decide to whether to get an a300 or a400 for a while now.. still haven't truly made up my mind. I probably would have bought an a300 by now if I could ever find a wood version in stock. Seems like the only thing I can find (Even on the used market) is synthetic.

I was lucky enough to win one, It's the camo version. When I asked the shop if I could exchange it for a wood one they told me the wood ones wouldn't start shipping for the next 4 to 8 weeks.
