Looks like magpul is coming out with mossberg furniture now

Just got the latest Magpul newsletter for things they'll be debuting at SHOT show.

Among them were the new Mossberg series of stocks and pump handles for the 500/590 series. I might be interested in one of the stocks. The factory one for my 590 has a bit too much LOP for a short guy like me.

It's cool that they are at least branching out from just Remington parts.

P.S. Their new fixed carbine stock looks pretty cool too.

Meh....i'll stick with my Hogue/Aimpro 13" LOP stock. OP, have you looked into getting a shorter stock?

those look like what they came out with for the 870. not good looking in my opinion but maybe someone who has used one will chime in on functionality

I love the magpul furniture for my 870. It looks ugly as hell but it locks up well, I can adjust the LOP, and the recoil pad is nice and thick =)

Hey Chunker,

I saw that they have adjustable LOP, how does it work? Does the back of the stock with the recoil pad slide in and out kind of like the PRS?

I really don't like the look of these stocks and forearms but if they're comfortable and are top notch then well done magpul. Looks aren't everything.

Their furniture had me looking at an 870. The stock just looks very ergonomic. Maybe I will just look at the Mossbergs.
