    Mossberg 500 Bullpup

Local Cabelas has/had a used Mossberg Bullpup for just under $500. Taxes will put it about $525.

Anyone have one that can comment on them?

Or perhaps you had one before your boating accident and can tell me how you liked it?

    It's a lunchbox with a grip safety.

(Yes I have fired one, no I would never buy one.)

Bulky and clunky to operate. I'd pass.

I had a neighbor who owned one. Clunky as previous post said, defeats everything you've learned about mounting and pointing a shotgun, seriously. I think that's why bullpup shotguns have almost zero interest among shotgun shooters.

Kinda' interesting but not sure it's worth half a grand.

Life's journey is not to arrive safely in a well preserved body, but rather to slide in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "holy schit...what a ride"!!
