I lucked out yesterday and found a FN SLP MK1 on grabagun. It was even on sale! I lucked out big time. I imagine I stumbled upon a new shipment. But all my LGS are out of inventory. I hope the rest of you get lucky too. For a shotgun that is.

I just want a mossy 500 or 590a1 or even a cheap 200 dollar shotgun and can't find any!!!! Arrggghhhh

Big 5 in Pasadena (Rosemead and Colorado) had some Mossbergs and Mavericks in the rack last week. No luck on Remington 870. The Maverick was $230.00. The Mossberg 500 was $400.00.
The Mossy for $400.00 is not even as nice as the one I bought in 2011 for $300.00. The Maverick is same price as before.
Big 5 in San Dimas wanted $300 for Maverick and $400.00 for Mossberg.
Not sure why the prices were different. I wonder if San Dimas figured out the supply getting short and raised price. I assume the Mossberg is more in demand and this is why price is up by $100 in every store.

I called a few places today to see if they had a 930 SPX in stock. A couple of the Turners stores said they had them in their warehouse but not in the store. Then 2 other Turners stores said they were out of stock in their warehouse, so not sure who to believe.

I did find a Blackwater 930 SPX... not my first choice as I want the regular stock, not the pistol grip, but it was only $749 so I'm going to get it tomorrow morning (sorry, not saying where in case one of you guys get it tonight!)

Turners quoted me $669 for the regular 'tactical' 930 SPX, and $779 for the Blackwater 930 SPX.



Speaking of run on shotguns, anyone see the "Magpul" 870 Express Tactical that's 'on sale' at Turners next week? Only $719 for an 870 Express!

Was able to snatch up a Moss500 spx w/ghst rng pictny. The price was marked up some $569.99 @ Turners in San Bernardino. It was the last one however they had a couple Benalii and a few other pistol grip shots left. Place was packed and I arrived close to opening.

Last week the Turners in Torrance had 1 mossberg 500 in stock that they had found in the back. I ordered a 590 and was told 2-8 weeks wait. I'm not sure if it's coming from there warehouse or the actual manufacture with that wait time lol.

I think it was from an expired lay-a-way. The sales rep had to ask the manager if it was available for sale.

I sAw one Benneli M2 at Triple B for $1200 last week. The cashier said it was brand new, I'm not sure if it still there tough. Whoever wants one give them a call. If I can raise cash within the next few days I may get it for myself.

Just venting

I have been saving for my first shotgun and today I thought would be the day I would put my Mossberg 500 on the 11 day wait. But no...
I was planning on getting it from Big 5. It has $319 forever, barring the black friday sale. Today it's $399. The blew my budget. So I called up Dick's, they have a Mossberg for sale for $279 just no optional barrel. The 2 stores in Fresno/Clovis are out of stock and they dont know when they will be restocked. Agghh!
