      Here's the deal. He's gotten a bunch of answers, but asking on the internet whether a gun is safe to shoot, is like asking for a medical diagnosis over the internet.

      The responses are not very valid.

      Would you shoot a gun because some guy on the internet named "funky monkey 235" said it was ok?

      You want a valid answer? Take it to a qualified gunsmith, or replace the barrel.

      There's your valid answer.

        A bulged barrel is an indicator that something has failed. Don't use it until it has been checked by a competent gunsmith who is familiar with bulged barrels. They can be fixed. Try calling Briley for a recommendation - I think they do repairs.
