Problem with my first shotgun 590a1

Hi guys I just picked up my 590a1 today, really excited for my first shotgun. Can't wait to take it out to the range.

There was one thing I noticed, the top rail was not aligned. Is it really crooked or is it suppose to be that way? Can some people with 590's chime in and let me know.

Bummer, not what I was hoping for in my first shotgun but I guess I learned to check firearms before purchasing them. Although I did purchase both of them during my lunch break and had to rush! haha. Thanks guys

Now..where would I be able to find a box big enough to fit the box the firearm came in?
