Ya had a question. I was looking at this gun I got from someone for doing some metal work for him and I noticed where you feed your shells, there is no loading ramp? Tongue. Was wondering if this is normal or is it missing a piece? Haha I know its a rather lame question. But Would love to know the facts on it ^^ thank you.

Mossberg 500 load ramp?
Tags: None -
There is no feed ramp. The shell is lifted by the elevator assembly arms and pushed into the chamber by the bolt when the forend is pushed forward.
There is a cool explanation with pictures here:http://science.howstuffworks.com/shotgun5.htm
Guns only have two enemies...rust and politicians. -
