Santa brought me a 930SPX

Not really Santa but my wife and son went in a got me a Blackwater 930SPX. Total complete suprise when I opened the huge box it was puy into. Now I have to go out and break the bad boy in. It pays to be a good boy.

i have a 930spx as well. i added sling mounts, a side shell carrier, trimmed the fore grip where it overhung the loading port and stippled the bottom of the fore grip myself as well.

mine happened to need some attention before it would shoot cheapo walmart bird shot reliably. basically a thorough cleaning, extra lube and about 100 rounds of buck through it and then another 50 high velocity through it as well. a little polishing, thorough cleaning and attention to lube and now it shoots cheapo stuff all day.

great gun! mine was my early xmas gift as well. glad we did that before things went crazy....

My son bought it at Turners San Bernardino about 3 weeks ago. Don't know if they hae any more.

I looked at the blackwater 930spx. This is the one with pistol grip correct? Do you guys feel that the safety is in an awkward place?
