When will the speculation stop? A potential ban on shotguns would indeed effect shotguns, but nobody has any idea what legislation mite get passed, as none is even on the table at the moment. If you want a gun and can afford it, buy it, if not, don't worry about it. For all we know they'll get rid of the NFA all together and just do a firearms licsense that allows you to buy full auto cash and carry, or they'll institute a massive gun confiscation program, or require is all to carry swords, or only shoot odd numbered calibers, or who really knows.;
