Where can I get sporting clays?

I've looked online everywhere, but I haven't been able to find sporting clays. Anyone know where to get them from stores? I could've sworn I saw them at Wal-Mart before, but I checked the other day and didn't see any near the ammo section.

I bought some from Amazon, but when they arrived at my door it turns out they're were these tiny 2 inch clay discs, not the typical sporting clays used for trap and skeet shooting.

Walmart usually has em, might need to ask if you don't see them out. Last box I got was from Big 5.

Call around to the local sporting goods stores that carry shooting supplies.

Thanks, I knew I wasn't crazy when I thought I saw them at Walmart before. I will check again, and check around the other sporting goods stores as well.

Same here, on pallets in the aisles. The irony is that around here there are very few places to shoot...

Walmart also has/had pallets of shotgun shells (#7.5 shot or so, 100-rnd boxes) and I bought one box, only to find out several months later they were out. Don't know their logic in how they stock items, but they were a good price so all I can do is check each time I go.

OP, are you talking about "clay targets" ?

Sporting clays is a game that uses "clay targets".

Clay targets, clay pigeons, those orange things that fly through the air to be shot by a shotgun.

I found 'em at Walmart, they were tucked in a corner somewhere. $10 for 90!

I was in the Santee Walmart on Monday to buy a gun lock and they were all out of clays. I stopped by earlier today to see the ammo case and they must have just restocked with clays. Unfortunately the ammo case was about 60% empty. Mostly hunting rifle ammo.

Walmart. I've noticed that each store tends to carry a little different selection than the others. You might just need to try different stores in your area.
