Flashlight barrel clamp bending barrel on SuperNova.

I just added a Nordic 2+ extension on my SuperNova and also a Nordic barrel clamp for flashlight attachment. After tightening all the screws, the barrel and the extension tube are pulled toward each other a little and causing them to deflect slightly. I didn't think much of this, but when I went out to shoot today, all my shots are low. I adjusted the rear ghost sight all the way, but still not enough to bring the shots up.

Anyone else experiencing the same issue?

i have the same setup but haven't experienced your issues. the barrel shouldn't deflect by adding the clamp. perhaps the clamp is out of spec

I have the same problem but with a Nova not a Supernova. The clamp pulled my barrel down and lowered my point of impact some. I had plenty of adjustment in my ghost ring sights to correct it, but it still kinda bothered me that the clamp seemed a bit off. I would have just taken it off but I mount a light on the clamp. I thought about contacting Nordic but never got around to it.

I have never witnessed it first hand, but know people that it's happened to.

For what it's worth, when I bought a Vang Comp extension for my Remington, Mr. Vang himself told me he advises against using barrel clamps on any shotgun because it can change your POI.
