Difference between 870 Express and 870 Tactical?

Are there any major differences between the 870 Express, and the 870 Tactical shotguns? Here's a link to an Express Tactical for sale (no breacher), while Turners & Big 5 have the regular Express for sale at $339 right now.

Is there a difference in construction or finish to the receiver between the 2 shotguns? I haven't seen a Tactical model in person.

Besides the different stocks and foreend, are there any other noticable differences? It looks like the Tactical has a 1-piece mag tube and the Express has an extension. Do both foreends unscrew off so that you can change them?

Would you want to buy one over the other? I'm seeing them for about the same price ($20-$30 difference), and I wanted to pick one up but just wanted to know what the differences were.

from what i can see on the website the express tactical is the only one around that price range, are you thinking of the police model? the fore end on the bottom shotgun looks like the police model

I fixed/updated my original post, and put a link to the Express Tactical I was referring to. I'm still interested to hear about any "major" differences between the 2 models, or what would make you want to get one over the other.

Stock & forend don't matter since I would change those out for a Hogue setup anyways. I do want the 6+1 shorter setup, and I want the mag tube the same length as the barrel so it looks even & uniform.

Look at the location of the barrel lug. On the tactical, the lug is at the front of the magazine extension. What that means is, you can not change barrels for any of the many that Remington makes for other purposes.

In other words, what you see is what you get and that's it.

As far as finish and parts I believe they use the same. The main difference between the two guns at least to my knowledge, is that the "tactical" model has a 1 piece mag tube that does not allow you to use standard 870 barrels. I really like the looks of the "tactical" model but... the inability to swap barrels may be a down side unless it will be used as a dedicated defense weapon.

Same exact weapon but with a different barrel and mag tube. Every thing else is the same. Same finish, same parts, same every thing else. If you want a dedicated HD in Cyl Bore then there is no problem. If you ever want to change barrels.........PROBLEM.
