The Fiocchi Cup - I have excuses (and pictures)

First let me say that it was a picture perfect day in the AZ desert. 75 and sunny with a gentle breeze, but not a cloud in the sky.

That being said, the sun was in my eye, I had a pebble in my shoe, and Mike Wilgus shot a 100 staright !!!

I've been sick as a dog all week, but figured if I stopped taking cold medicine for a day, my head would be clear enough to shoot.

I didn't factor in that flying with a gallon of snot between my ears would make my head swim. I was dazed and confused.

I shot a 73, high score in my class was an 83, and oh yeah, MIKE WILGUS SHOT A 100 STRAIGHT !!!

    Ron (Sandy) Ingels shot a 90 !!!

The sub gauge, pump-gun and SxS all used the same six stations on the Road Runner course, but with different shooting positions, and different presentations.

I was with Leonard when he shot pump-gun and I have to tell you, the presentations we tougher that what we shot on the Prelim !!

Speaking of the Prelim, Sandy-cake Miller took AA2 with an 87. Sandy and her husband Mike are two of the nicest people you'd ever meet. Sandy-cake has been taking lessons from Ray Brown, and it shows.

Wait a second, her name is Patty-cake, why do I keep thinking of "sand"
