    Beretta 610

What is the best load to use when breaking in either a 12ga or 20ga
610 silver pigeon 1? I recently purchased and shot for the first time at the clay course. i was using light loads ie. 7/8 1200fps and the guns wouldnt recycle? should i be using a heavier load during this period and if so any suggestions would be appreciated!
    Thanks!

I broke mine in during opening day of dove season with WallMart ammo. That totaled about a case and a half over a 3-day weekend (in Texas). Shot weight was either 1 or 1-1/8 oz with 7-1/2's or 8's.

You've got a beautiful shotgun...I'd suggest calling Beretta and asking.

Just pondering while on break here, but is the model designation correct? I don't recall an auto model 610, and the silver pigeon I is basically a grade of 68x series over/unders...?

A lot of semi auto's have it listed in the user manual what it will take in minumum dram or shot weight to make it cycle reliably.

That's what I thought you meant and you are welcome.

Most interested to know what Beretta tells you.

Thought so too, but what threw me off was The fact that he is asking about cycling an over/under... ?

I was thinking all it could be was the inertia cycling system.
