    Knoxx Specops stock reviews?

I've searched and found a few good reviews, looking for more though.

Want to get one for my Win 1300.

Good or bad? Does it really reduce recoil like it advertises?

    Thanks

My brother has it on his Rem870 and it does reduce the felt recoil. I would say by about ~25%.

buy it.... I bought one for my 870 and love it, feels like shooting an sks when I am shooting slugs and buckshot. I could go forever and not get a bruise

I also have the Knoxx ComStock on my 870 12 ga. Deifnitely makes it easier to run your shotgun longer. Easy to install. Not expensive. I recommend it. The Spec Ops model probably has the same recoil-reducing effect.

I give it two guns up! .

Slugs and buckshot are not a problem with the SpecOps.

Easy to adjust the stock and solid settings.

Had a chance to put a few slugs through MCubed's Mossberg with a SpecOps on it. Wow. Only thing is, if you mount optics, you have to keep well back, the stock really does allow a lot of rearward movement.

It still pushes you, but instead of getting hit, you get pushed. A lot less of a "shock" than you're used to.

I have one and it is awesome when it comes to reducing recoil. However, you will not want to put a Surefire foreend on it because it will give your knuckles a nice whack.

I'd recommend one, I love mine.

I put one on an 870. I did not notice any reduction in recoil until I fired a few slugs and some 3" buck, then the recoil system kicked in! . One complaint though, installed a sling adapter and it creates a gap that pinches my finger.

No joke about the scope travel backward; do NOT choke up on this stock with optics... course... then I normally like shooting 2 3/4" or 3" magnum slugs. Loaded for bear is a fun term to use!

Also this monster - has the optional - Limbsaver for SpecOps (Knoxx P/N: 18005) on it. My buddy has the same Mossberg 500 12g - with the normal buttpad; and we can tell the improvement the Limbsaver for SpecOps makes.

As for the total difference these items make... I've spent weekends shooting constantly for hours on end; with no fatigue bruises etc...
