Quick question because I too am interested in adding this to my 982.

In regards to 922r compliance, what does the mag extension replace among the list.

      (1) Receivers YES
      (2) Barrels YES
      (3) Barrel extensions
      (4) Mounting blocks (trunnions)
      (5) Muzzle attachments
      (6) Bolts YES
      (7) Bolt carriers
      (8) Operating rods
      (9) Gas pistons
      (10) Trigger housings YES
      (11) Triggers YES
      (12) Hammers YES
      (13) Sears
      (14) Disconnectors YES
      (15) Buttstocks YES
      (16) Pistol grips
      (17) Forearms, handguards YES
      (18) Magazine bodies YES
      (19) Followers YES
      (20) Floorplates YES

That's a list of 12. Simply changing out the furniture brings me back to 10.

The YES items in that list are applicable to the Hawk 982 and Pardner Pump.

For 922r compliance, the factory magazine cap (equivalent in function to a floorplate) is replaced by a U.S.-made magazine spring retainer (one part). The factory follower is replaced by a U.S.-made follower (one part).

Choate's magazine extension kits include both a spring retainer (a polymer cap pressed into the extension tube) and a follower (in addition to the steel tube extension, the spring, and a sling attachment).

Other options are to install Remington's original-style spring retainer and Remington's orange follower (sold by MidwayUSA).

I for one would love to see a pic or two of this..... I pick up my new 982 this Saturday and I will be in the market for an extension for sure and so far I was thinking about the +1 from Nordic as users are able to squeeze 2 in there when using the factory spring. But I would prefer one that is equal length to the barrel

There is another magazine extension made by Royal Arms. I got a 1 shot mag extension for my hawk 982 a few months ago. I purchased this from Ebay. When I went to see if anymore available, they were all out. I also tried to do an internet search for this item but I couldn't find any info on where to buy one now. All I seen were old auction that ended for this particular item. So to add to this convo: these extensions are parkerized to match finish of the 982, and these mag extension is about even with the barrel too when installed. The price for this mag extension if found should be around $40 to $50.

                Nice looking extension.

                - Are you using one?
                - Does it allow +2 rounds to be inserted?
                - Did it come with a new follower?

                - How did you order it? (Website does not allow prices to be shown unless you're registered)
                - How much was it?

                  - Are you using one? - Yes.
                  - Does it allow +2 rounds to be inserted? - I have the +1 to be even with barrel of my 982. I can put 7 shells with stock spring.
                  - Did it come with a new follower? - It did with a new spring.

                  - How did you order it? (Website does not allow prices to be shown unless you're registered) - I got it off Ebay a few months ago. I took a chance and paid off.
                  - How much was it? - I got it for $38. Now that they are rare probably more.

I personally do not have one, just flexing my BingFu.

Cesboze, can you get a pic of it on your 982?

Just put the Knoxx G2 on my pardner last night. Love it, but need a mag ext now.
