Anyone have first hand reviews of Rio shells? Been looking at picking up some OO and #4 & Rio has some great pricing, just don't want to waste my money on junk. Anyone running their autos with Rio?

RIO Reviews?

I know several people that buy Rio's by the pallet.. they have no issues running them in their guns.. The Rio Buckshot loads are inexpensive compared to the Federal buck shot, but they utilize the old method of buckshot.. no shot cup, which makes the pattern a bit more erratic and larger than the flight control Federal stuff. I know at least a half dozen people who use Rio's for their match ammo and I see Rio's for sale at several sporting clays ranges.. They are pretty good shells. -
I have used it im my M4 and it works fine. Great price.WARNING: This post will most likely contain statements that are offensive to those who lack wit, humor, common sense, and or maturity.

I have used a few cases of Rio 12GA OO buck in Saiga 12s. Pattern is a bit erratic beyond 10 yards. A polychoke fixes pattern issue at long range.Comment

Doesn't cycle my Saiga .410, also fails to feed due to the Rio shells being too short, 2.605" long, and hitting the feed ramp. Federal works fine.Comment
