I've got a Rem. 48 Mohawk 12ga. Does anyone know if Rem 11-48 barrells are interchangable with the Mohawk 48? By the way, let me know if you have a suitable bbl. you want to sell. Ideal for me 28 mod. w./w.o. rib. Thanks

The 11-48, Sportsman 48 and Mohawk 48 are all the same gun. The Mohawk was the economy version, the Sportsman was the mid-range hunting version (limited to 3 rounds).
Good luck on finding a ribbed barrel. I searched for months and finally won a damaged one on gunbroker. Now I'm trying to find a smith to repair it at a decent price. Non ribbed 28-30 inchers pop up on gunbroker all the time. Also check Colston's Barrels frequently."If a man hasn't found something worth dying for, he isn't fit to live." - Martin Luther King Jr.
