Help!
I bought a Mossberg 590 a while back (Black Friday last year) for home defense.
I found a rail/side saddle (Max Mount) I liked and mounted it. Problem was that the rail sat up high enough that the bead sight became useless. My solution was a Burris Fastfire II.
I have since decided I don't like fumbling for the little switch on the side when something goes bump in the night. I would like to replace it with ghost ring sights, but I want it to look clean. Rear sight needs to mount to the rail and, ideally, the front post would use either the existing sight bead hole or be a slip on tube; I would prefer not to mount a rail up front to hold the front sight post.
I would also like (not required) a sight that has two dots on the rear and a single dot up front (line up the three dots and squeeze the trigger...) with self-illuminated tritium being a bonus.
Early on it looks like the GRS that comes on the Mossberg SPX line might work, but I am unable to find any for sale.
Does anybody have a recommendations?
