    20 Gauge Semi Auto Suggestions

Id appreciate suggestions for a new or used 20 gauge auto under. $750. Mainly to be used for pheasants and quail, not ducks. Prefer gas operated. Thanks.

I bought a used Browning Gold 20 semi auto. Excellent shotgun, gas operated. Browning now offers the Browning Silver, which is a newer, improved version of the Gold but you would probably have a hard time finding one used.....it may be too soon. If you do find a Silver used, snap it up. I also bought, at a different time, a Browning Silver, and I really am very happy with it in all respects.

Picking up an Escort 20 gauge semi auto sythetic26" from the 10 day hold for my wife this weekend. Nothing except excellent reviews in print and on the internet. She decided she wanted to do go out in the field and do some quail hunting with my son and I this year. Looking forward to seeing good things from this gun.

                ><

Winchester SX3 ....I was very surprised with its balance , smoothness in swing.....the one I tried was a field model with 28" barrel.

                In the 700-800 range
