Pardner single shot on sale ($99) @ Big 5

Just put a 20 ga single shot pardner at big 5.
Walked in there to look at shoes and saw the shotgun for $129.98 plus 25% off. Came to $130 out the door. They also have the .410. And the 12ga for the same price.
Now I'll have a gun to take first time shooters for some trap fun

Nice! I just repaired one for a friend, would love a .410 version. I'll have to call around and see what I find, thanks for the heads up.

Repair? There are like 3 moving parts on that thing and it looks like it is built like a tank (never shot one actually so I could be really wrong).
I just find it easier to have an extra gun, specially with an easier recoil, to take people to the range.

99.99% of my friends don't have guns but most would like to go to the range with me. This way we can shoot trap together instead of taking turns and shooting alone.

The other big thing for me too fully convert my wife. She doesn't mind the guns but doesn't shoot. Every time she shots my 12 ga. she complains about the recoil.

A stock, pipe, trigger/hammer...yup, they work!

I've got one in 12g that I bought from a buddy for $50...it's a good one to have around. I'm looking forward to my boy shooting it someday.

Until then, I like shooting cut shells through it at steel wabbits ~100 yards

        Cheers

There is a lifter/striker assembly that seems to have a bit of a design strength flaw. In the .410 I fixed, the pivot pin dropped out and got lost, had to fab a new one. On the 12 he brought me, the striker is actually broken off, have to get a new part and install. Easy fix, $20.

I have the 410, gawd the ammo is expensive. May have to get the 20 and 12 to complete the set!

These are excellent firearms, either as ATV Gun rack guns or cut them down -Within legal limits- for a handy 12 GA Truck gun.

The .410 is killer for jump shooting rabbits. You can actually reload .410 shells by hand with some simple hand tools. Not really practical for shooting multiple rounds of trap or shooting off a bunch of shells at the range, but rather cost effective for building hot loads for hunting purposes. Here's how you do it:

I have had my old lil (H&R?) Pardner since I was about 10 years old. It is a cool little 20 Ga and now my son loves it too.

My son still shoots my single shot Brazilian Kmart 20 ga. I bought for $79.00 in 1982. Great little gun, everyone should have a little single shot 20 ga laying around for friends, kids and non-shooter friends. I don't want them shooting my Red Label, if they drop it, I would die a thousand deaths.

Sorry, had no access for a couple days...
No coupons, it had a red tag sale but I have no idea till when. It was not listed on their add. So I would stop by and see. Almost regretting not having got the .410 and the 12 just to have the set. One DROS and 3 guns at $99 would put the whole set just around $350 out the door. Tempting

went down and had a look... they couldn't get the .410 or 20g to break open

but still for $99 if i find one that works ...maybe
