Mossberg 590A1... what does "SF" on stock mean?

[oldrifle]

I just bought a really sweet 590A1 with loads of work done and some sweet goodies on it and one of the things it has on it is the little plate under the pistol grip with the letters "SF" imprinted in gold. I was wondering what SF stands for. The guys at the gun shop didn't know. I thought maybe it stood for SpeedFeed but it's just a solid stock with no SpeedFeed feature.

Any ideas out there?

old School SpeedFeed I think. I have the same one.

So SpeedFeed made stocks without the SpeedFeed device?

Yeah for some reason Speed Feed thought a gold logo was the way to go lucky they changed it nothing that can't be taken off if it bugs you .
