Folding Stock Question / Blackhawk SpecOps

I have a Mossberg / Maverrick 88 and have installed a Blackhawk Folding SpecOPs stock.

My question is; should there be any side to side play?

I've tried installing with and without the rubber o-ring. The stock seems to fit fine otherwise.

I used to have the Knoxx SpecOps Folder for my M870 and after it was installed I did notice a slight bit of horizontal movement. However this was only when it was folded and never when it was deployed.

The lockup after it was extended seemed pretty good, however I only used it for a brief amount of time. Nothing close to that of hard-use like some people. Overall I liked the concept of it, recoil-reducing stock and very compact for storage.
