    Tacstar side saddles

So my tacstar side saddle has lost 4 of the 6 retaing screws that hold the hell holder to the reciever mounting plate due to recoil from slugs. Has somthing similar happened to anyone here? Did I just get a lemon? Or should I just upgrade to a mesa tactical? I had the tacstart on my remingtons and they worked fine. I'm confused lol thanks guys

I'm not sure if this is normal or not. But you can just buy some industrial strength velcro from wally world and velcro your side saddle to the side of the receiver now
Bounce a ball in Football that's a fumble. Baseball, no bouncing at all. Bounce a ball in Hockey, well that's a mandatory drug test right there...

        Did you use Loctite?
I have had them on my M1 Super 90 and my 590 for 14 years now without a hitch.

I was going to ask if they came loose or actually broke off. If they're coming loose, clean the threads of both the screws and the plate real well and apply a dab of either blue or purple Loctite; purple is supposed to be for screws smaller than 1/4" I believe.

If they're breaking, there's something else wrong.

But Loctite should cure all your ills. And it tastes like candy.

PM me if you decide to sell it. I'm looking for one to modify, regardless of condition or screws. Thanks!

                WTB used AK MFER.
