    Knoxx SpecOps Stock legality questions

Is the knoxx specops stock legal in California? It seems to be adjustable. What if You altered it to be fixed in length before you attached it to a shotgun, then would it be legal?

Thanks for your help, have a great evening.

Depends if you want to put it on a semi-auto or pump action shotgun. I believe it is illegal to put on a semi-auto and legal to put on a pump action. I have one on my 870 and it works great.

I believe in terms of an adjustable/collapsible stock for purposes of AW definition, a fixed stock does not qualify (though I have no idea how permanent the alteration has to be).

I was just looking on the Knoxx website, they make a model that isn't adjustable, but it doesn't have the pistol grip either. So either way I'm sure I'll be able to work something out and comply.

On a pump it's cool and legal.
On a semi auto... Not in Cali... you can have either a Pistol grip or a collapsible stock, but not both...

Baron, if it's no trouble could you point me in the right direction to read that from the source? I have a big thing for getting it from the source when possible(and I'm sure I'd learn a lot if I read it for myself too).

            Thanks again.
