Mossberg 500 and 870 Interchangeability

Hey guys I have a Moss 500 in jail (mainly because my lady wont stop bugging me about going to shoot clays with her) and was wondering if/what parts are interchangeable from the 870.

My buddy has the Magpul furniture set on his 870, but is now converting it to a pistol grip/CQ setup, and would basically give me the Magpul stock and foreend

I don't think the magpul furniture will fit a mossy. They only make it for Rem 870's. Kind of a bummer. The upside is mossy accessories are a lot cheaper then accessories for 870s. Hope you have fun with your new scattergun. Post some pics when you get the chance.

Yes, the ammunition is completely interchangeable between a Mossberg and a Remington.
