Liberty Stagecoach Shotgun

I'm looking for some parts for my dads shotgun. Can anyone here lead me in the right direction? I need new firing pins. The pins I have are starting to mushroom and are no longer working. I've taken it to a couple of gun shops and no one can match them. I think it's the thread pattern that's hardest to match. I don't know what details you exactly need so here's what I have. It's a Liberty Stagecoach 12ga Shotgun with 18.5" barrels. It was made in 1976 and it's a side by side double barrel.

Numrich has many replacement side by side firining pins. Also Numrich has "90 percent fireing pin blanks" that you match up and your gunsmith does the final fitting and threading. Only use a quality firing pin replacement part - don't use a modified nail = they have killed shooters.

Stupid question - you have'nt been dry fire-ing this shotgun - rabbit ear hammered guns and derringers should NEVER be dry fired. You have to use a snap caps. I think (my opinion) that all break open shotguns are the same with similar firing pins (therefore should NOT BE DRY FIRED). The firing pin shears off and it bounces down the barrel. An uncushened (by the primer like a shock absorber) firing pin has to do all the work of shopping the hammer and mushrooms and/or breaks.

The firing pins are under the great tension of the agressive springs inside. USE GRINDER'S GOGGLES to proctect your eyes.

I cant remember if they used a drill press or what to compress the firing pins while assembling and dis-assembling these pins (screwing in and out). Still use eye protection and get ready for the spring and parts to shoot out of the breech block (riquocheeing off the ceiling).(edit)

I've never fired the shotgun dry. I can't speak for everyone else that's ever touched it. My dad has had this shotgun as long as I can remember.
