    New SX3

Got this on a blowout sale at CDNN (last years model). Came in a 1/2 size box, disassembled and packed in cosmoline or something similar. Wiped it down, did a quick cleaning and lubrication, and reassembled it. Going to be used mainly for Clays and upland hunting. First shot this Friday. My first semi...

Cosmoline? Cosmoline is used for long term storage often of military surplus items. Nice looking gun.

Mine also had a brownish oily coating on it, it wasn't cosmoline though. You will love the shot gun. Very little recoil and mine has cycled everything I've ever fed it.

Thanks! Looking forward to it. The receiver was covered in oil, but the barrel had a gel of some kind on it. Maybe just oil that had coagulated??

nice gun! i got the duck blind camo one with 3 and half inch chamber. those rounds are almost no recoil with the gun, and its FAST! great purchase OP and that grippy stuff on it is awesome in the water, super tacky when wet
