I recall Big5 having them for $200 on sale. I found one at a local shop but they wanted a lil over 3 for it. I'm good of that. Anybody know where I can find one around here in the $200 price range. 2 bills with ghost ring sight is calling me.

ya I got mine at the 5 for $199.00 I wouldn't pay $300 for one lol. Try sports authority if you have one in your area the stevens is ok too anything in the $199 range will be decent for SD.

I got a display model for 180. Very accurate (POA at 100m easily with GRS), reliable (just be sure to wash out the packing oil and relube with real oil), strong steel ... not MIM steel like 870 Express. Works with 870 tube extensions and stocks and fore grips.

Have 870 express and its decent, at least I think. Its the only shotgun I own or have experience with. The only load I have had a problem with is the fiocchi low recoil failing to eject and jamming. When I bought it I was decidng between a 500, 982, or 870. Figured I would go with a 870 action due to its popularity. The final decision was based on the Made In America aspect. Now I got an itch for some GRS and instead of installing some on the current HD I decided that I should just purchase a 982 and own 2 shotguns. Its a win wn situation and now I could be double shotgun wielding
