Have a pump, should I get a semi?

I already have a pump shotgun that I really like but it's not as fast as a semi so I'm wondering if I should get a semi auto shotgun.

I'm not one to buy another gun just to own more guns so I need to make sure it's a smart move.

It would be used only for shooting games such as 3-gun. My current "fun shotgun" is the winchester defender. It's pretty fun.

What do you guys think? I was thinking of something like the Mossberg 930 home defense model.

The 930 is a good gun for a good price. So if you want a semi for 3 gun and/or home defense I say go for it.

semi's are very fun. i have the 930 defense/field barrel combo and its a huge bargain for what youre getting

Your pump should be fine for HD or 3-gun. I have a Defender from the 80's.

I'd suggest the only reason you would need a semi is for hunting. You need to be quick for wingshooting.

I have a Defender from the 80's also.Plus a Remington 1100 semi and whole bunch more shotguns.... I am not really sure anyone can have too many shot guns..

Yes I have two pumps for HD and A semi I use for shooting clays. You can never have too many shotguns.

The 930 is a great shotgun for the price. Nothing in it's price range can touch it.

If you want it for 3-gun, then get a Moss 930 JM Pro, or Rem 1100, Benelli M1 or M2

Also look into the Remington Versamax...though thats pretty new so all the 3-gun parts are just coming out
