R and R targets compensator for Saiga

Hi, I am new to forum. I purchased a saiga from Atlantic Arms after I read one of the threads here. I was wondering if anyone had installed one of the compensators from R&R. They look like they reduce recoil to almost nothing, also was wondering if they were legal to install in Ca, since hardly anything else is.

I'm not sure how much they help on a gas firearm, but compensators and muzzle breaks are not illegal in CA. Shocking isn't it?
BTW, it will make your firearm slightly louder.

R and R is the place for Saiga modifications. They are the go to shop for 3 gunners running the Saiga in the Open Division. Shot one of their conversions, very soft shooting and very fast, very nice, but $$$ for the full custom modifications.

Well, I called R&R and the owner says compensator is legal, so I guess I will look in to it some more. I thought flash suppressor was illegal, but recoil brake was ok.
I would add that compensator does not mount on the end of the barrel, but about mid way on the barrel where it is necessary to mill gas port holes.

I checked today, as long as you have the Cal button both are legal. For anyone having malfunction on miss fires you might want to check out; Tac-47 Autoplug Install, on You Tube. Gas plug looks like the answer for gassing problems

the auto plug mainly is for fixing an over gassed gun, if you're under gassed you need to open up your ports to the correct size then you'll get the full benifit of the auto plug. as for the comp, the mid barrel comps are the best for actually reducing recoil the screw on types do help reduce recoil a tad but its not all that noticable.
