Circuit Judge SS or Blue Tactical?

Saw the Circuit Judge at a LGS and it's a pretty neat idea as it shoots 410 or 45LC.

They have the SS (or blued) in wood, and the blued with a tactical stock (and shorter stock about 4" or so). I like the blued tactical that they had in stock, or the SS in wood (but they would have to order this one and I only saw pictures).

Any preferences in form and function?

I preferred what I had which was the blued in wood. The tactical is cool-is, but unnecessary considering the basic comes with a picatinny rail up top. The length of pull on the stock is pretty short to begin with, but is a super fun gun to shoot. Going to get another one when I get my shop up an running for hog hunting.

Thanks for the thoughts. The tactical seemed to be a little short in the stock when I held one since it is 4" shorter than the wood stock. Still need to figure out which one I will go with.

I like mine blued in wood. I was going to go with the stainless, but my extreme prepper girlfriend worried about the reflection off the barrel. If I had to do it all over, I would get the stainless, but I love it just as much the way it is. the tactical model is kind of unfortunate looking in my opinion. The wood stock has a very nice cheek weld, and is very accurate at 50 yards. I want to put a scope on it and see what it can do out to 100 yards. I've shot a bunch of different .410 rounds through it, and while fun, it gets expensive quick. The home defense ammo for it that's out there is fun but pricey. Overall, I'd have to say that I like this rifle way more than my AK or SKS. I can't explain why exactly, but it is super nice to shoot. I reload, so .45 colt stays cheap. The rifle likes either 250 grain cowboy loads or 185 gr hollow points with 11 grains of blue dot. The latter is super accurate and punches pretty holes in the paper and gets 2 inch groups at 50 yards. 200 gr. cowboy loads just tear the paper. I want to experiment more, but I'm not sure what kind of pressure the frame can take.
