    SB249 and Saiga's

If SB 249 goes through and BB's are now illegal what are the Saiga shotgun owners to do? any thoughts?

    Choose wisely.
    1. Store it out of state.
    2. Sell it out of state.
    3. Turn in to LE for destruction.
    4. Keep it, get arrested for it, go to jail and spend $$$$$ to fight the charges in the Courts.

That's not what SB249 does. Check out the threads in the Second Amendment forum to learn more about it.

I've read it multiple times, and a normal bullet button falls under the definition of a "conversion kit".

from what i was reading at stopsb249 it sounds like the intent is to ban parts like the mag magnet that attach to the rifle to make a non detachable mag into a detacble mag, so kits like the vamfire conversion and mag magnet kits would be illegal because they can convert a non detach into a detach. thats what i'm getting anyway.

With the current wording of the bill, it does not. Though they may change the wording.

SB 249 deals with conversion kits and BB 'tools'. But don't know how safe semi autos or even Saiga's are with this bill. This bill does reference the BB device and its tools for sure.
