    Remington Model 870

Hello, I just became a US Citizen 4 weeks ago, and i have a chance now to purchase my first Firearm In the United States. I saw this at the Remington website and i wondered if this is legal in Cali? I do not know many of the laws here in Cali as i should but i figured you all would.

yes it is legal. It is under the 10 round limit and it is a pump. This site is great for finding intel on the CA gun laws. The Remington and Mossberg are both great shotguns for the price. A great choice for a first gun.

Congrats on becoming a citizen too!

Model 870 Folding Stock w/7-Shot Extension. Why the question mark?

Have you got a price on this model yet, I was considering the new Mossberg - I can only find one local gunshop that can get it and it 379.99.

Congrats on becoming a US citizen. I believe the shotgun in question is legal here. You will not go wrong buying an 870. Just take a look inside any police car, I'm willing to bet that about 97% of the shotguns across the US are going to be an 870.

The remington 870 is a very common shotgun for a gun store. Even big 5 sell them. I do not know much about your location in CA. So you might need to find a gun store or find a FFL and have them order one for you.
