Remington 870 (model 5077)

Does anyone know if the Remington 870 Express Tactictal (model 5077) has a solid 6 shot mag, or a standard 4 shot mag with a +2 extension? I've found several different photos for the same model and Remington's website is no help. I'd like to order one, but I would also like to know what I am going to get before I order it.

It somewhat depends on when the gun was made. Remington has within the past few months gone to the six shot solid tube and the differently placed barrel bracket. There are likely still plenty of the older model still out in inventory, but new inventory will likely be the newer model moving forward.

Stock photos on web sites should always be taken with a grain of salt as they are not always kept updated.

Read below I know buds has a history of not displaying actual gun for sale.

Give them a call or email and find out from the horses mouth. I know the Remington site shows the bottom picture for their express tac so I'd say probably that one.

Hopefully Appi will chime in, he's the 870 expert. Maybe I should just buy one from him, at least I'll know what I'm getting.
