Has any one herd anything about this shotgun. just found it on Atlantic Firearms. looks like it is something to compete with the KSG.

      Problem is...

Kel-Tec KSG uses dual 7 round tubular magazines with a manual switch over.
This would be considered to have a magazine capacity of 7+7+1, which would be legal under CA's large capacity magazine laws.

UTAS UTS-15 uses dual 7 round tubular magazines that automatically switches over.
This would be considered to have a magazine capacity of 14+1, which would be illegal under CA's large capacity magazine laws.

I like, maybe someday when I move to Free America, away from the Country of Comifornia, I will check one out.

Probably given time, they'll make a CA version to get around the red tape. This is one of the reasons why I haven't gotten an AR or AK yet (bullet button and 10 round mag limit = BS). Hope to leave sometime, in the near future, to somewhere without all the BS.

In the end it is $1200 for a pump shotgun. This platform does not give any advantages than what an 870 or 500 already have( other than two tubular magazines). My advice buy Modern Warfare 3 and unlock the KSG and have some fun and save yourself a ton of money.

If one still wants one wait and see how the reliability and quality of these firearms are.

Oh yeah, this thing. I read about it on The Firearm Blog and then didn't hear anything else about it.

For those of you interested, I just received a reply from UTAS:

                      Dear Steve:

Thanks for your inquiry regarding the UTS-15 and California compliance.
The California DOJ regulations are very clear regarding shotguns. These
regs state that a pump action shotgun without a rotary magazine or other
magazine capable of holding 10 rounds is California compliant. These
regulations specifically name the Street Sweeper, Laws 12 and Striker 12 as
being non-compliant. There are more strict regulations applying to
autoloading shotguns, but the pump action situation is pretty clear. We
have contacted the California Department of Justice and they report that
they have made no ruling on shotguns with dual magazines of 7 rounds. They
go on to say that while they have not declared such shotguns as being
non-compliant, they are leaving that up to local jurisdictions, presumably
county attorneys and local law enforcement. We would suggest that you check
with your local authorities and get a reading from them. We would also
appreciate you sharing any information that you think might be useful to us
                      and to other California customers.

In summary, the State of California DOJ has not said that the UTS-15 is
not non-compliant but perhaps local authorities might have a different view.

                      Thanks for contacting us.

I've seen this gun before, it's very interesting, definitely a KSG competitor.

Saw it before but dang, its even fatter and taller then the KSG from the looks of it. Could be wrong but the high bore axis will not help with quicker follow up......wait, I sounded like a Glock fan for a sec....
