Put my 1st shotgun on layaway

Well I decided to get my 1st shotgun ever. I wanted a semi auto , so I went with the Mossberg 930 SPX .
I hope it cycles the cheap target load stuff reliably. Will be my HD gun also.

Semi auto for HD is a horrible choice.

How do you expect to scare off the intruder with our being able to rack the gun?

Just messin man. Congrats on the purchase. Finally purchased one of my own about a week ago.

I like to let them see the big flame that shoots out of the end of the barrel!

Congrats to both of you on your shotguns!

Does racking the bolt make enough sound?

If not, the "BANG!" certainly will

I've only fired cheap target loads out of my SPX and it has been 100% reliable.
Jeez, now that I think of it, why don't we just add a "No Crimes Allowed" sign in front of every city? Crime problem solved, police disbanded, instantly.

Nice! I may get one of those some time. I'd probably throw some more stout loads through it first and then try the birdshot but that's just me.
