Rather, I want all my ammo on the gun: 6+1, plus 6 more on the receiver mounted side saddle.
Ya, I wouldn't get those 4x4's unless they were under $15. And only for targets. It sounds like you have what you need and are ready. I dont have cold or duress, and it's all lit up outside my place at night. No one but my family could manuver in my place at night, so the dark is my friend. I would never go out with my --->shotgun<----,only ambush within. I have extra shells in spots around the house. the 2 back rooms , livingroom and kitchen where I may retreat to. What about some cargo shorts sitting next to the shotgun with loaded pockets....ya gotta put something on when you hop out of bed. I guess shooters will work out the kinks and get what's right for themselves after running around the house doing some dry practice.

BUT OMG, I saw the price you were talking about. I changed my mind, I think I'll just throw loose shells in cargo pants pockets.
That is Keith Garcia. Very good 3gunner. You can see him on 3gun nation. I got to shoot with him at last years shotgun match held at Richmond Rod & Gun. His weakhand reloads are very fast.
The AP Customs 4x4 and 3x3 are worth every penny. Double the amount of rounds in half the space on you belt. Brilliant!!. Again these are built with 3gun in mind.

That's my brand. Nice 870. Mine is KISS too. An 18.5" with rifle sights, a Hogue 12" LOP stock, Wilson +1 extension and a REAL parkerize job from AIP.

You have the best fore end. The Remington Speedfeed. Don't swap it out; you'll be sorry.
