    B/BB reference on Zombie Permit?

    Both these permits treat B/BB as caliber (or guage) references? Am I missing something or is B short for BBL or Buckshot?

    B and BB are sizes of shot, bigger than most birdshot, smaller than most buckshot.

    But really, why would it matter on a fake license anyway?

        Just never heard of B shot. Is a shotgun BB the same as air rifle BB?

          Where did you find these? Wouldn't mind slapping one on a friends bumper when he's not looking.

            Zombie meme = cultural cul de sac.

            One day, pop culture will stop going in circles in the Zombie cul de sac and will move down the road. I look forward to that day with great anticipation.

                B is not what BB guns shoot. BB and BBB are just measurements of shot sizes. They are close to the size of a air rifle. I would niot feel safe using BB sized shot that is .18 in diameter in a rifle designed to shoot .177

                  BB = BB

                  B is smaller then BB
                  as
                  BB is smaller then BBB

                  Size B is 0.17" (right between #1 and BB)

                  This is not 0.177" however, as the measurement is different by 0.007

                    I wasn't talking about BB size. Just mentioning that B would prolly fall somewhere between BB and 1.

                    The steel shot table doesn't list a B. It goes 1 (.16) to Air Rifle (.177) to BB (.18). So I was guessing B and air rifle were prolly @ the same.

                      Speaking of shot sizes, do anyone know where I can buy a reference sheet of some type like the pictures posted above by Turo. Maybe someone who sells reloading supplies?

                      I'm looking for something hard plastic and either have true scale pictures or perhaps small holes to represent actual/correct physical size of different shot.
