    Rust removal on a remy barrel.

    So a buddy of mine has had a remington 870 in storage for 6 months and he left it dry (he's dumb). Of course it rusted lol not a lot just a little on the barrel. You can only see it when you put a flash light to it but there is a funny orange rust tint to it. So with that being said how can he remove it without hurting the parkerized finish? He's tried w-40, remoil, and clp and the orange tint is still there. Any ideas?

    Try Rem Oil and 0000 steel wool.

                no, if used with oil it pulls the rust, not the finish.
