Does the 1301 Tactical C replace the 1301 Mod 2?

I received an email on yesterday on the new 1301 Tactical C.
It appears to be replacing the 1301 Mod 2.
I'm hoping this means we can get a 7+1 that is 922r compliant.

Looks so bad*a*s*s in that Jet black configuration. Good to see Beretta continuing to evolve and innovate the line.

The Tactical C is basically the Mod 2 in a 5+1 configuration. Everything the Tactical C has other than the 7 shot tube is from the Mod 2.

It looks like the only real change from the Mod 2 is the addition of a M-Lok fore-end. They've also deleted the Mod 2 from their tactical shotgun webpage. So the C must have replaced the Mod 2.

I'm bummed they didn't bevel-out the loading port like they did on the A300 Ultima Patrol.
